HEY! So this guy? That’s the person who kept fucking me after I said ‘no, please stop. You’re really hurting me. I mean it! Get off me!’ over and over until I faked coming just so he’d finish. That’s the guy who choked me until I nearly passed out on the side of the road, who hit me and threatened to hurt my mama, my pets. That guy wanted a free pass on any consequences, that guy was complicit in a laughable ‘accountability’ process.

I’m not the only woman he’s raped, I’m not the only lover he’s hit by his own admission. This has been going on for years, and each time he’s gotten away with it for various reasons.

If you’re friends with this guy, if your friends are his friends, if you want to date him - you can’t say you care about women, or consent, or domestic violence. So I just realized that I have a new pet peeve… and that’s missing work…especially if I didn’t need to. I’m sorry but your poor excuses as a mother disgusts me. And if I ever plan to have kids with your daughter, I don’t want you near them. I know you won’t be there for them, so what’s the point? While I know my parents are far from perfect, they were at least always there for me, especially when I needed them the most. I know now that things will never change with you, and that makes me sad. Your daughter is an incredible girl, and she deserves so much better than what you have given her! Done venting.
